Sustainable development has been the subject of a wide-ranging programme within the ASSA ABLOY Group since 2007.

In just a few years, ASSA ABLOY France's manufacturing sites have considerably reduced their water consumption and their liquid and atmospheric pollutant waste.

Economical and clean in terms of waste control, each site is permanently integrated into its natural environment.

Based on this ecologically responsible approach, we are working on products that are cleaner throughout their life cycle, from creation to recycling. At the design stage, this involves selecting materials with a low environmental impact that are efficient in terms of energy use and waste treatment, as well as using 100% recyclable packaging. When they leave the factory, our products are shipped to their markets via an optimised logistics chain, limiting greenhouse gas emissions.
It's not surprising the ASSA ABLOY manufacturing site, which includes Stremler-ASSA ABLOY production, has been ISO 14001-certified for several years.
